The VIRTUAL Quote Wall

Every now and then people on our team say things that other teammates feel are quote worthy. We have a big piece of paper on a wall in the robotics room where we write them. But now I’ll put them up on the website for your entertainment!

“Why do I end up parenting when I’m 250km away?” -Brian (mentor) on skype from Ottawa

“That’s right FEAR ME” – Brian (mentor) in an email regarding his picture on the ‘our mentors’ page

“So where is the problem?” – Ian and Mike (mentors) to the team after spending half an hour trying to figure out a problem that wasn’t actually there…..

“Between robotics and flirting, when do you sleep?” – Mike (mentor) to Matt (student)

“Ian is wrong – OH! Its’s small!!” – Beks (student) (referring to the new c-RIO) while walking into the room and seeing the new c-RIO

“Oh dear you guys are going to ruin my dress size, I just know it.” – Ian (mentor) after seeing the picture the team sent him of a pile of juice boxes (his one and only love, after star wars of course).

“So we want to test this…..That’s how science works.” – Mike (mentor) when a student asked why him wanting to test the prototype.

“It’s the miracle of CAD where Jimmy can make a piece in Kingston, and I can make a piece in Ottawa and they fit together…except they DON’T” – Brian (mentor) referring to some pieces of our falcon tail (bridge lower-er)

“BRING ON THE WING NUT JOKES!!” – Beks (student) (we’re using wing nuts for our bumpers this year)

“That’s great! But for our subsystem, we’re LITERALLY waiting for paint to to dry.” – Brian (mentor) referring to the MOVING the Falcon Tail (bride lower-er)

“I can’t hear you over the sound of how awesome this drill is.” – Ian (mentor)

“Pretend this is my hand.” – Nikhil (student) while referring to his hand.

“That’s the last thing we want our mentors to have; a life.”- Beks (student)
